Accomplishments
Mr. Whitfield is currently of counsel with the law firm of Donald A. Schlapprizzi, P.C. His experience includes Business, Civil Rights, Complex Litigation, Construction, Employment/Discrimination, Insurance Policy Disputes, Legal Malpractice, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Professional Malpractice, Property Damage, Real Estate, Uninsured Motorist and Wrongful Death. Mr. Whitfield is Attorney and CEO for the Fifth District Economic Development Fund (1997 to present). Provisional Municipal Judge for the City of Kirkwood, 1982 to present. Mr. Whitfield started the law firm of Whitfield, Montgomery & Staples, P.C. in 1974. He has participated in the formulation and development of “Kinloch Tomorrow” Plan-Buyout for Airport Expansion. He was previously the City Attorney for Velda Village, Wellston, Pine Lawn, Missouri and previous Kinloch Municipal Judge. Mr. Whitfield has participated in numerous mediations.
