Accomplishments
Practicing attorney, partner in the law firm of Cates, Krouwski, Bailey & Schultz, Belleville, Illinois (since March, 1997). Significant personal injury/trial litigation, with expertise in class actions, mass torts, medical malpractice, product liability and general negligence, including FELA. Although the majority of her cases involve the representation of plaintiffs, she also handles corporate defense, as well as small corporations (trademark matters, allegations of sexual harassment and contract actions).Formerly, served in St. Clair County State's Attorney’s Office (1977-82) practiced with the law firms of Carr, Korein, Tillery, Brennan, Cates & Constance prior to joining her current firm.
