Accomplishments
After graduating from law school, Mr. Schowalter joined Peper, Martin, Jensen, Maichel and Hetlage. He has been in private practice of law since that time and is currently a partner at Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin, LLP. Mr. Schowalter has extensive experience in the areas of corporate and securities law, including general corporate, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and federal and state securities regulation; all aspects of public company representations and negotiating commercial transactions. Mr. Schowalter was also involved with a $400 million corporate restructuring of an NYSE telecommunications company into an Internet directory and yellow pages publication, including a complex cross-boarder share exchange.
