Accomplishments

Mr. Buckley currently serves as counsel to Buckley & Buckley in St. Louis. He was an associate and partner at the law firm of Evans & Dixon between 1960-1998, where he concentrated primarily in defense of civil litigation, handling a heavy trial docket, including aviation law, automobile, invitee, landlord-tenant liability, homeowner liability, malpractice, and civil rights cases. Prior to joining Evans & Dixon, he engaged in general law practice with Mark D. Eagleton, specializing in the trial of civil litigation, particularly plaintiffs’ damage suits (1954-60) and served as legal officer, U.S. Air Force (1952-54). Mr. Buckley began serving as a mediator in 1996 and has mediated over 600 cases. He has served as a mediator in cases involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, aviation law, and automobile and premises liability. He has lectured extensively on trial practice, appellate work and civil procedure. He is also the co-author of “Missouri Evidentiary Foundations”.
