Accomplishments
Partner with the firm of Gray & Ritter, P.C. (1989-1999); Principal with
Sueltaus & Kaplan (1985-1989) and Fitzsimmons & Fitzsimmons (1970-1984); Chief
Trial Attorney, Public Defender Bureau, St. Louis, Missouri (1968-1970).
Mr. Fitzsimmons has served as a neutral in over 200 cases, with experience
including general civil litigation, medical malpractice, wrongful discharge,
discrimination (age, racial, sex), products liability, FELA, professional
malpractice, wrongful death, serious personal injury, construction law,
premises liability, commercial and class action disputes. He is also a
frequent author and lecturer on ADR. In addition to his ADR experience,
Mr. Fitzsimmons has been honored for his trial ability be being elected to
Fellowship in the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of
Trial Advocates, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the
